San Marino MotoGP: Rossi's 'Wish you were here' Simoncelli helmet

On Saturday at his home Misano round, Valentino Rossi unveiled a special helmet, dedicated to his much missed friend Marco Simoncelli, featuring the artwork and lyrics 🥃from Pink Floyd's "Wish you were here".
Like Rossi, Misano was Simoncelli's local circuit and is now named ﷽in honour of the 250cc world champion, who lost his life in a racing incident involving Rossi and Colin Edwards at the 2011 Malaysian Gran𒉰d Prix.
"This time we decided to make something more serious because it is already quite a long tim🅰e that Marco is not with us, but here is his racetrack - more than me because his house is closer and also the circuit is in his name," explained Rossi.
"So we decided to remember him with a s𝓡ong from Pink Floyd, that every time I hear I remember ♊Marco. This was the idea. A tribute to him."
