Pedrosa fortunately escaped serious injury, but h꧑is slim 2013 MotoGP title hopes hav😼e all but disappeared.
After running wide in the incident, rookie Marquez caught and passed Jorge Lorenzo for victory. Marquez thus extended his title lead to 34 points over Lorenzo and a massive 59 over the unfortunate Pedrosa, with just four races remai✤ning.
