French MotoGP contract extended
The French Grand Prix will continue on the MotoGP calenda🏅r until at least 2021 after a con♔tract extension was agreed with Dorna Sports during this weekend's Le Mans round.
"We have a great relationship with Claude Michy [promoter of the event] and PHA and the French Grand Pಞrix has been steadily building on its success at such a legendary circuit as Le Mans," said Dorna CEO Carmelo Ezpeleta. "We are pleased to continue to work with Claude until 2021 and maintain a key."

Le Mans was first used for a grand prix🌜 event in 1969, when the 500cc race was won by Giacomo Agostini. The current Bugatti circuit has been used for the MotoGP event for the last 14 years in succession, starting in 2000.
