Capirossi gets a Monster.

Not many riders get a bike named after them, but today (Thursday) at the Bologna Motorshow Ducati wilඣl present the Monster 620 CAPIREX to the public - a machine dedicated to MotꦕoGP star Loris Capirossi.

Capirossi, together with Troy Bayliss, ♚rode the marque's Desmosedici V4 in its debut GP season in 2003 - the Italian claiming nine podiums, three pole positions and a landmark victory for the Bologna based company.

Not many riders get a bike named after them, but today (Thursday) at t✅he Bologna Motorshow Ducati will present the Monster 620 CAPIREX to the public - a machine dedicated to MotoGP star Loris Capirossi.

Capirossi, together with Troy Bayliss, rode the marque's Desmosedici V4 in its debut GP season in 2003 - the Italian claimi𓆏ng nine podiums, three pole pꦓositions and a landmark victory for the Bologna based company.

That win marked the only occasion that Honda were beaten in 2003💛, and helped Ducati finish their rookie MotoGP season a magnificent second in the Manufacturers' Championship.

The Monster 620 CAPIREX - 'Capirex' is Capirossi's nickna💧me - has a red fairing, seat cover and tank (see pictures), with a laterღal white stripe, which vertically cuts across the top of the tank.

In addition, the bike sports the "Capirex" official logo on the windsℱcreen's Plexiglas, and also Loris's official '65' raceᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ number.

Both Capirossi and Bayliss,🦄 who will continue with the factory Ducati Marlboro team next season, will be present at the Bologna Mot🦂orshow - along with their Desmosedicis - on December 8.
