Jeremy McWilliams returned to MotoGP action during testing in Qatar last week - mar⭕king his first track appearance since breaking a femur, collarbone and sustaining s🐼evere damage to his hand, at Jerez last November.
However, as perhaps this picture illustrates, it was something oꦓf a difficult return for the former 250GP winner, whose efforts to help Ilmor gain much-needed ground on its 2007 riv🀅als were hampered when he hurt his leg on day one - forcing him to sit out day two.

Howeve🌌r, as perhaps this picture illustrates, it was something of a difficult return for the former 250GP winner, whose efforts to help Ilmor gain much-needed ground on its 2007 rivals were hampered when he hurt his leg on day one - forcing him to sit out day two.
McWilliams was back on track for the third and final day, but he and team-mate Andrew Pitt remained at the bot🌳tom of 🔥the timesheets - separated only by injured Kawasaki rider Olivier Jacque.
"I don't think we can underestimate how much work we still have ahead of us," admitted McWilliams. "I'm definitely not where I want to be speed wise yet but we will have some new engine parts to play with in Jerez so hopefully that will make a difference. On a positive note, I tried out a new 16 inch front tyre from Michelin today and it was great, it rea🌌lly helped on the corners."
McWilliams, Pitt and Ilmor will be back in action at Jerez this week⭕end, for the final pre-season test before the full 2007 field returns to Qatar for the season-opening grand prix on March 10.
