Jorge Lorenzo has describe💯d his recent visit to HRC headquarters as "very interesting... we were able to work on many things, some which will help this weekend and some for the future.”

The triple MotoGP champion flew to Japa🔯n for direct talks with Honda engineers following a best finish of just eleventh place in the opening six rounds.

Lorenzo is𝓀 yet to feel 💜comfortable and confident on the RC213V, struggling to control weight transfer on corner entry. Seat modifications, which provided the final piece in the puzzle at Ducati last year, have been unsuccessful so far.

"We have decided to try improving Jorge’s ergonomics problems by organising a trip to Japan, " team manager Alberto Pu✃ig explai💜ned prior to the visit.

"We thought it was a good idea to talk directlꦑy with the engineers and to analyse more deeply the problems he is having, trying to get a better position for him on the bike."

The future Lorenzo parts should include the one available ꧟fairing update allowed for each rider during the season.

T🍬he Spaniard, winner at Mugello last season, was only 13th and over 20 seconds from victory in tꦿhis year's race.

It's a pattern he hopes won't be repeated in his home Barcelona round, where he won by 4.5s in Ducati colours a 𓂃year 🐲ago.

“After a mixed weekend in Mugelloಌ, I am hoping that we can do good work t🌃his weekend in Barcelona," Lorenzo said.

"We will keep working at our maximum to ♔close the gap to the front.

"We also have a test after 🍷the race, which I am l꧟ooking forward to as well."

Lorenzo is currently 14th in the world championshi🌞p, whiꦛch team-mate Marc Marquez leads by twelve points from Ducati's Andrea Dovizioso.

HRC test rider Stefan Bradl wa🐻s also at the factory last week.
