MotoGP: Bagnaia: I will not give up, but Quartararo remained the most constant

Despite two wins and a second place finish since Aragon, it’s unlikely to be enough for Francesco Bagnaia as h⛎e trails MotoGP championship leader Fabio Quartararo by 52 ⛎points.
Bagnaia’s form since the second Austrian round (finished P2 at the Red Bull Ri𓂃ng) has led him to be the highest points scorer over the last five rounds.
In those five races, Bagnaia has only been off𒀰 the podium once which was at Silverstone, while the 24 year-old has also gotten the better of championship rival Quartararo in three of them including their brilliant battle at Misano.
However, the late season charge by the factory Ducati rider is unlikely to be enough for a maiden MotoGP crown 🎃as only 75 points are left to play for.
Quartararo💙 will have his first opportunity to claim the title at Misano next weekend, alth♓ough Bagnaia will fancy his chances of extending that to Portimao given his recent results at the World Marco Simoncelli Circuit.
But while Bagnaia is refusing ‘to give up’, the c🌠onsistency shown by Qua💎rtararo means that it’s extremely likely in one of the next two races.
Speaking about the title battle, Bagnaia added: "For sure I will not give up, but 🐻Fabio this year has done a great job for sure.
"He was the fastest at ⭕the sta🥃rt and is the one that has remained the most constant.
"So, he is really a great rider. He will have the ✅opportunity to win and we know where we lost the points.
"In the last part of this season, the last three or four races we are doing a really good job. We are improving, we are learning and we are more competitive I t🌜hink."
