2020 Austrian MotoGP - Race Results
Dovizioso꧟ and Ducati take their first win of the season during a chaotic, restartꦬed Austrian MotoGP, held over 20 laps at the Red Bull Ring.
The initial race was stopped due to a shocking accident for Morbidelli and Zarco, who tangled on the flat-out kink before Turn 3. Their bikes then careered towards the corner, Morbidelli's machine bouncing through a narrow gap betwe𝐆en Vinales and Rossi.
Both Zarco an𓆏d Morbidelli were conscious, although the 🅷Italian needed medical assistance.

Update from Petronas Yamaha: 'Franco is okay. His right hand, right shoulder and head took the brunt of his crash but he did not lose consciousness at any point. He has undergone a CT scan, which showed that there are no major issues. Franco is currently in the Clinica Mobile undergoing minor treatments.'
After the restart, Miller took the lead on soft ty𝓀res but was caught and🍌 passed by Dovizioso and Rins.
Rins then crashed out moments꧒ after taking the lead from🐽 Dovizioso, who broke clear in the closing laps to win just one day after announcing he would leave the team at the end of the season.
Miller and Mir fought the flag, the Australian running wide in the fin💖alꦍ corners meaning Suzuki's Mir took his first MotoGP podium with a second pace.
Espargaro had been leading when the race was stopped, but the restart would be less kind and he eventually crashed out after tangling with KT꧒M colleague Oliveira, who was furious.
Vinales had a terrible opening lap, dropping to the back of the pack with possible bik🌳e issue⛦s.
World championship leader ဣQuartararo ran wide through the gravel during the first race, meaning a recovery ride after🌠 the restart.
Reigning world champion Marc Marquez missed his third event after breaking his righ꧙t arm in the MotoGP season opener, and was again replaced by Stefan Bradl.
Francesco Bagnaia, who suffered a fracture to his right tibia in Friday practice in Brno, was replaced by Ducati test rider Michele 🌟Pirro.
The second of the back-to-back Red Bull Ring rounds takes place next weekend.
