Conor Cummins confirms Superstock deal for roads

Manx rider Conor Cummins has joined Simon Andrews in the RAF Reserves Honda team to contest the Supersꦉtock races at the international road races🧸 this year.
Cummins, who is part of Honda's official 2014 line-up for the North West 200 and Isle of Man TT alongside Morecambe's John McGuinness, will𓆏 ride the new CBR1000RR Fireblade SP Superstock machine on the roads at both events.
The Ramsey rider will also compete in the Pirelli National Superstock 1000 Championship for RAF Reserves Honda, with Andrews - who has battled back from serious injury after a crash at the Le Mans 24-Hours meeting - riding in the MCE British Superbike series𓆉.
Cummins said: "I feel brilliant and🐼 after a cou𒁏ple of years away from racing in the Superstock Championship I want to come back and give a good account of myself.
"In 2010 I was running up the front and getting results, so there is no reason why we can't be up there ag🍬ain a🅘nd challenging for the results.
"It is a competitive field and lots of us💛 want to do the business but Iཧ am definitely coming back to really fight for results."
Cummins is aiming to return to the form that saw him battling at t𒀰he front at the TT in 2010 prior to a career-threatening crash in the Senior race.
He has enjoyed spells with Northern Ireland's Tyco Suzuki team and Milwaukee Yamaha over the past few years but has yet to scale the same heights that saw him cruelly forced out of the 2010 Superbike TT due to bike trouble while holding a comma𒁃nding lead.
Cummins🍷, though, is now gearing up for a crucial year in Neil Tuxworth's official Honda outfit and has his best opportunity yet to push for a rostrum return on the all-conquering Fireblade Superbike at the TT.
