Great racing and large crowds were the name of the game this weekend ꦑfor Round𓂃s 3 & 4 of the 31st Annual World Championship Ice Racing Series.
Rouജnd 3 took place at the Everett Events Center Friday night in Everett, WA before over 4,000 enthusiastic race fans. In the Manufacturers World Cup 450 Motorcycle division, Jeremy DeRuyter from West Bend, WI continued his winning ways on his Husqvarna.

Round 3 took place at the Everett Events Center Friday night in Everett, WA before over 4,000 enthusiastic race fans. In the Manufacturers World Cup 450 Motorcycle division, Jeremy DeRuyter from West Bend, WI cont𝓰inued his winning ways on his Husqvarꦕna.
DeRuyter became🌞 the season's first two time winner with back to back victories in Hampton, VA and Everett. DeRuyters impressive win over a full 16 rider heavy hit꧟ter field saw Chris Canepa (Kawasaki) from Porterville, CA finish second joined on the podium by 3rd place finisher, Kevin Anderson from Cambridge, MN riding an ATK 450.
In the Unlimited Outlaw Quads, a "world record" 26 pros showed up for battle. The defending World Champion, Dick Matei (Yamaha) from Hinton, Alberta, was up for the challenge by defeating all co𝔍mers for the $1,000 first place prize. Second place finisher was local racer Chris Kristensen from just down I-5 ൩in Portland, OR and 3rd went to current World Championship points leader, Chuck Calvert (Honduki) from Madison, WI.
Round 4 took place the foll🌳owing night in front of an even larger crowd at the Rose Quarter Coliseum in Portland, OR. Another star studded field of racers took to the ice to compete for cash and glory.
The Manufacturers World Cup 450 bikes were as extreme on the ice as ever🥂! Jared Mees (Honda) from Honeybrook, PA was on fire with a perfect night winning both of his heats and the Main Event. Finishing second with a fine performance was "Smokin" Joe Kopp (Honda) from Mica, WA.
Third place 𒆙went to the suprise rider of the series thus far, Rookie Kevin Anderson (ATK) from Cambridge, MN.The 24 rider Unlimited Outlaw Quad Division racing in Portland was wild to say the least!
When the smoke and debris had cleared, second generation racer Shawn Bigham (Yamaha) from Lake Havasu City, AZ had scored his first major event victory. Shawn's father, Randy is a past ICE Outlaw Quad World Champion whꩲo had also recieved his first ever win in Portland, OR. Second place finisher was World Championship points leader, Chuck Calvert (Honduki) from Madison, WI followed
