Reading Bulldogs made their third signing for the 🍒new season on Wednesday evening, whe♏n Polish star Janusz Kolodziej agreed to return to Smallmead for the 2007 campaign.

Kolodziej's signing will be a bi𓃲g boost to Reading's hopes of going one better in 2007 after the Bulldogs narrowly missed out in the 2006 Elite League Play-Off Final against Peterborough in October.

The Pole played a major part in the club's successful season back in British Speedway's top flight, where he finished with an excellent 7.84 average from 21 meetings (6.52 for team-building purposes). The 22-year-old was also in great form in the Grand Final against Peterborough, where he scored 9 (paid 10) despite suffering two punctures whilst in scoring positio🌺ns.

Unfortunately his 🍎season was cut short as he suffered shoulder injuries on two separate occasions, but the 2005 Polish Champion is now fully fit after undergoing an operation at♒ the end of 2006 season. The injuries meant that he couldn't defend the Polish crown which he won the previous year, but with a clean bill of health he will be looking to pick up what looks to be a promising career on the world stage.

Bulldogs co-promoter and team manager Jim Lynch was delighted to see the Polish ace put pen to paper, he said: "Janusz played an integral part in our success lꦉast season, so we're really pleased to have him back with us again this year.

"He had a couple o💝f injury setbacks during th🍌e season, but he overcame those and came back to help us into the play-off final against Peterborough.

"There is no doubt he is a big talent for the future and it's great we will see that talent develop further as a Reading Bul﷽ldogs rider."

Confirmation of Kolodziej's signature takes Reading's 2007 team count up to t🌳🧸hree to go with Matej Zagar and Danny Bird who signed on just before Christmas.

The Bul💝ldogs will be holding a Fans Forum at Smallmead Stadiumꦉ on Friday 12th January, where team boss Jim Lynch will further update everyone on the latest news from the Club.
