Gold Coast teenager Tammy-Jo Sheehan got the chance to meet one of her idols to thank him for giving her a helping han🦹d in life as preparations continue for the Lexmark Indy 300.

Tammy-Jo is just one of many children with physical disabilities who rely on the services and support of MontroseAccess (formally know as the Queensland Society for Crippled Children), one of the official charities of the Gold Coast race, who will use fundraising over the Lexmark Indy 300 race weeke🎶nd towards the construction of a new centre to provide world-class facilities for Gold Coast children with physical disabilities and their families.

The youngster, who suffers from Arthrogryposis, a condition which had led to her haꦿving to undergo a number of operations, got to meet V8 Supercar star Russell Ingall and she was delighted afterwards.

"It was grea꧑t to m🏅eet Russell," she said, "he was an awesome guy."
