Bayliss is hugely keen on cycling an🐟d is well known for doing many miles on his pushbike to train and keep fit in and around Monte Carlo where he lives.

The double World Champion wa🌸s cycling in the town doing his regular training routine. He and his personal trainer were🐷 on a downhill stretch of road at the time when Bayliss was thrown from his bike after hitting a manhole.

He slid down the road and was fortunate to a♑void being hit by passers-by in their cars.

Luckily the injuries sustained by Bayliss are relatively minor and will not prevent him for racing at Assen; cuts and bruises and a sore back; bu💖t the Aussie, in his last year of motorcycle racing, was forced to delay his flight to the Netherlands.

He will also have a check-up at the travellingꩲ mobile clinic before the week﷽end's on-track action begins.
