Whyte gets Yamaha chance at Kyalami

Shaun Whyte will join Sheridan Morais in making his World Superb🎃ike Championship debut at Kyalami after being drafted in to replace David Checa at Yamaha GMT 94.

Checa will return to the series for the next European event at Misano, the team choosing to g🐼ive Zimbabwean Whyte the chance to impress having begun the season well in the South Af♔rican Superbike Championship.

Checa will reﷺturn to the series for the next European event at Misano, the team choosing to give Zimbabwean Whyte the chance to impress having begun the season well in the South African Supeꦫrbike Championship.

Y𒉰amaha rider Whyte, 39, brings a wealth of experience to the WSBK having begun his career 25 years ago and is one of five new or returning faces to the grid this weekend, joining SA 🍸SBK rival Morais, Gregorio Lavilla, Fonsi Nieto and Steve Martin.

Meanwh🍌ile, Yamah𒁃a GMT 94 will have American rider Erwan Nigon competing for them at the following Miller Motorsports Park round.
