For the second year in succession,🎀 Martin will be unable to take part in the legend༒ary race after crashing early on in free practice, the Hydrex BSB rider being briefly knocked unconscious in the process.
Although his trip to the hospital was a precautionary one, FIM rules state that any rider knocked un💧conscious in an accident cannot race again for another seven days. As such, Martin will be forced to cheer Easton, who qualified sixth, from the pit wall.
A sour end to what has been a difficult season for Martin as a whole, Hydrex Bike Animal team manager 🙈Muir admits the accident 'summed' up his year.
"That just about sums up Guy's season! The good news is that he's OK but it's not the way neitherꦗ he nor Bike Animal wanted to end the season. Despite that, he's in good spirits and was out watching Stuart in second qualifying with us."
