IndyCar: Gonzalez becomes fourth driver for Coyne

Rodolfo Gonzalez is gearing up to become the fourth different driver in three race weekends for Dale Coyne Racing in IndyCar

Rodolfo Gonzalez is gearing up to become𒆙 the fourth different driver in three race weekends to climb into the cockpit of Dale Coyne Racing's numbe൩r 18 car after being confirmed on the driver entry list at Barber Motorsports Park.

The former GP2 driver replaces Conor Daly who finished 17th in Long Beach last weekend. Daly had been acting as cover for 𒁏Rocky Moran Jr who broke his thumb after crashing with Carlos Munoz in a practice session at the California event.

In an ongoing saga, Moran only partnered up with Dale Coyne Racing after Carlos Huertas left the team the night before the Long Beach race weekend due to a breakdown in contract agreements. As a result🐲, Gonzalez becomes the fourth name to race in the number 18 car.

The Venezuelan has previously competed in 64 races in the G🔯P2 series as well as racing in Euro Formula 3. He also acted as F1 team Marussia's test driver in 20♐13 and ran in eight Grand Prix weekend free practice sessions.
