WSBK Moscow: Moscow Raceway WSBK round cancelled again

Contractual issues force Dorna to drop the Russian round of the 2015 World Superbike Championship from the calendar; The event won't be replaced.

The Russian round of the 2015 World Superbike Championship has been dropped from the schedule over contractu💃al issues, it 💮has been confirmed.

The Moscow Raceway, which debuted on the WSBK schedule in 2012, was dropped from the 2014 calendar mid-way throu💦gh the season due to logistical issues relating to the ongo🌺ing conflict in neighbouring Ukraine.

Despite this, it was reinstated onto the provisional 2015 schedule﷽ with a round set to take place on July 5th 2015, albeit subject to contract.

However, Dorna has now confirmed that contractual obligations haven't beeꦑn met, mean𒅌ing Russia will be dropped from the calendar.

"Dorna WSBK Organization and the FIM (F?d?ration Inteꦰrnationale de Motocyclisme) regret to inform of the cancellation of t🌜he Russian Round scheduled to be held at Moscow Raceway on July 5th 2015.

"The Russian event promoter, YMS Promotion, has not provided the🎐 required contract guarantees defined by DWO to confirm and implement the event organisation."

Dorna also confirmed the round will not be replaced, leaving the calendar with 13 conf🍨irmed events.
