WEC: Toyota drops Lapierre for final rounds

Nicolas Lapierre will not ret💝urn to Toyota for the remainder of the 2014 FIA World Endurance Championship, raising doubts about his future with the manufacturer.
The Frenchman, who was involved in s💯ignificant shunts at Le Mans and Austin, skipped the previous event in Fuji for personal reasons but has now been informed that he won't be racing the #8 TS040 Hybrid al🎃ongside Anthony Davidson and Sebastien Buemi for the final three events either.
"Based on its experience in Fuji, the team considers it is the best option to continue with a two-driver line-up of Anthony and S?bastien ♑in Shanghai and for the remaining races of the season," read Toyota's Shanghai 6 Hours preview.
