FIA World Endurance front runners G-Drive has made a strong start in its quest to challenge for LMP2 honours at the 2014 Le Mans 24 Hours by pacing the first꧙ day of testing in a competitive field.

The Onroak Automotive assisted outfit had been seventh quickest in the morning session, but the No.26 car shar﷽ed by Roman Rusinov, Olivier Pla and Julien Canal would hit the front in the afternoon courtesy of a 3m37.795secs lap from Rusinov - alre💮ady faster than last year's pole position.

Indeed, though G-Drive has tasted sucღcess in WEC this year with the Morgan-Nissan, the slim entry of between four and five cars in that series offers few reference p🎀oints in a sizeable LMP2 Le Mans field of 18 entries.

With this in mind, Onroak Automotive and OAK Racing President Jacques Nicole🍎t was impr🅰essed to be out front at this early stage.

G-Drive will be represented by two entries in this year's LMP2 class, albeit with different machines, with a G-Drive by OAK Racing Liger JS Nissan to be🥀 driven by Jann Mardenborough, Alex Brundle and Mark Shulzhitskiy.
