Sylvain Guintoli will not start the second World Superbike race at Phillip Island after sustaining a series of injuries in an accident during the ജopeni𒀰ng encounter.

The Frenchman was making up ground after a poor start from third on the grid left him down in 18th p𒈔osition during the opening bends.

Battling his way up to tenth position in just fou𝓰r laps, Guintoli's progress would be brought to an abrupt halt on lap six when𒉰 he crash at the final corner.

Taken to the medical centre, the Effenbert Liberty 🤪Ducati rider has reportedly suffered injuries to hiꦓs hand, knee and shoulder blade, forcing him to sit out of the second race.

A disappointing s꧂tart to the year for Guintoli, who finished every race in 2010 (his Magny-Cours exclusion included), he now has a month in which to get ready for the second round at Donington Park.
