Casey Stoner is currently🎉 in recovery having undergone the wrist surgery he needed to stabilise an injury sustained back in 2003.
Stoner struggled with the ailment in the latter stages of the 2008 season after aggravating the problem during falls in Brno and🉐 Misano.

Stoner struggled with th𒆙e ailment in the latter stages of the 2008 season after aggravating the problem during falls in Brno and Mಌisano.
However, while he resisted the need for surgery until after post-season testing at Valencia, Stoner has now been treated for pseudoarthrosis on his left scaphoid before the removal of a staple, which was inserted in Stoner's scaphoid during an operation in 2003, and a bone graft using the Herbert Bo𝔉ne Screw System.
The surgery, which took place in Mod🦋ena, Italy, also saw two floating bodies removed from the area of the styloid process of the ulna bone (lower arm).
A Ducati press release stated: 𒉰"Stoner wanted to give his personal thanks to the medical team and also to Duc🏅ati Corse's trusted consultant, Prof. Fabio Catani from the Rizzoli Hospital in Bologna, who has provided crucial advice and support over recent months, helping to set up the operation with the team led by Dr Antonio Landi."
The 2007 wor𒐪ld champion has since been discharged and will begin his rehabi⛦litation on his return home to Switzerland.
