Todt set for third term as FIA president

Jean Todt is set to spend a third term as FIA president after being the only candi𓆏date to submit a completed application ahead of the upcoming General Assembly meeting in Paris.

Former Ferrari Formula 1 chief Todt became FIA president in 2009 after defeating Finnish rally legend Ari Vatanen, 🎐and ran unopposed in 2013 to secure a second term after the opposing David Ward withdrew after failing to gain enough support.

Todt announced his intention to run for a third term as FIA president back in May, and was confirmed as the only ca𝓡ndidate in a statement issued 🐟by motorsport's world governing body on Wednesday.

Todt's third term as FIA president - se𝔉t to last until 2021 - will be ꦫconfirmed at the FIA Annual General Assembly in Paris on December 8.
