Randy de Puniet is bidding to go one better in the Spanish Grand Prix this season, twelve months after finishing fourth fo🌳r LCR Hon𒅌da around the Jerez circuit.

The Frenchman kicked his 2010 MotoGP campaign off in good form at Losail🔯 with a run to sixth position as the second highest-placed satellite rider🎃 in the race and ahead of factory man Dani Pedrosa.

Moving onto Jerez, de Puniet starred around the Spanish ♑circuit last season with a competitive run tᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚo fourth position, although the Frenchman now wants to go one step further and get on the podium this time around.

"After the postponement of the Motegi GP I have increased my training programme to be at 100 per cent for Jerez race," he said. "After the good result we have obtained in Qatar our target remains the same: a top-ten finish. Last year's Jereꦬz GP was one of the best moments of my season as I finished fourth. I aim to be in the front this year again.

"The base sꦍetup we have developed during winter testing was very helpful in the fir🦂st round and I think it will be the same in Spain. We will start from the same setup and, session by session, we will adjust the bike."
