de Puniet eyes podium at Jerez

Randy de Puniet is bidding to g🅠o one better in the Spanish Grand Prix this season, twelv🥀e months after finishing fourth for LCR Honda around the Jerez circuit.
The Frenchman kicked his 2010 MotoGP campaign off in good forꦚm at Losail with a run to sixth position as the second highest-placed satellite rider in the race and ahead of factory maꦏn Dani Pedrosa.
Moving onto Jerez, de Puniet starred around the Spanish circuit last season with a coꦬmpetitive run to fourth position, although the Frenchman now wants to go one step f🍨urther and get on the podium this time around.
"After the postponement of the Motegi GP I have increased my training programme to be at 100 per cent for Jerez race," he said. "After the good result we have obtained in Qatar our target remains the same: a top-ten finish. Las🔜t year's Jerez GP was one of the best moments of my season as I finished fourth. I aim to be in the front this year again.
"The base setup we have developed during winter testing was very helpful in the first round and I think it will be the same in Spain. We will start from the same sℱetup and, session by session, we will adjust the bike."
